Food is always a favorite attraction at the fair, while entertainment and fun are in no short supply. This year's Bloomsburg Fair is being held Sept. 21 though Sept. 28 and features the usual array of food and bands such as REO Speedwagon, Jars of Clay and Travis Tritt. Carnival rides, games and thousands of people have been filling the normally empty Bloomsburg Fair Grounds all week. A record number of 91,241 people were there on opening day, according to the Bloomsburg Fair web site. The fair also offers animals, agricultural displays and cooking contests.
