The Voice opinion editors are at a disagreement once again. This time concerning North Korea's nuclear tests being conducted last week. The question is what is the correct action that should be taken in that area. So do we leave Kim Jong Il alone or do we give him the boot?
Mike Graziano: North Korea seriously has got to stop being so idiotic. They don't seem to understand that concept that the Cold War is over. Plus that communism is somewhat on the downhill slope of things. And now they go and test a nuke on their own soil for what? sparkles in the air? Something has to be done here.
Alli Downs: I think we should just learn how to mind our own business. Let them be idiots and blow up their own country. I doubt that they are any threat to us. If they were to bomb us, the rest of the world would most likely be behind us, especially if we don't get involved at all.
MG: Well if you haven't noticed Australia, Japan and even North Korea's partner in crime, China is pissed at them. If that's going on then you know we have to do something. Why do you think everyone is looking and waiting for us to make a move? They have to have nukes already, but the guidance system to send it to the USA is another story. Either way they are getting too close, and we need to fix that right now.
AD: Well if everyone else is "pissed" at them, then why do we need to do something about it? Let Japan or China do something about it. I think we have gotten ourselves into enough trouble with other bad Bush decisions. I just hope that he's out of office before he gets a chance to make another one.
MG: Ok I will agree with you about Bush. However! Here is the thing. Australia will no longer accept North Korean shipping; I think it goes the same for Japan. And China is just being a thorn in their sides. Now you and I both know the UN will just throw papers at Kim Jung-il. And now he wants to make a second nuclear? What the hell is going on here!? If he keeps it up we'll make Kim Jung very Ill! With the back of my hand!
