Heard any good jokes lately?

If you're an offensive coordinator for the NFL, I would make sure that your resume is up to date. Two coordinators were fired in the same day: Jim Fassel from Baltimore and Keith Rowan from the Arizona Cardinals. Fassel was fired after Baltimore suffered their second straight loss; Rowan after that extremely embarrassing loss to Chicago on national television. I'm not saying that a change of scenery in Arizona is a bad thing but maybe head coach Dennis Green needs to look at himself for a change. All I got out of that rant he gave after Monday night's game was nothing but laughter. If it was Bill Parcells, Bill Cowher, or Nick Saban, then maybe it would have been interesting. However, since it was Dennis Green, it was nothing but funny. To me, he is not an intimidating man at all, but a big joke. Obviously the Arizona Cardinals are a big joke too. They only have one win and a very good offense on paper. Even after adding Edgerrin "the Edge" James to their roster they are terrible, but I didn't think he'd succeed in Arizona anyway. On Monday he only rushed for 55 yards and had 36 carries. Even though everyone is allowed to have a bad game, that amounts to less than a yard a carry. I would rather be a Detroit Lions fan right now instead of an Arizona Cardinals fan because at least Detroit wasn't expected to be that good this year.
Another big joke of the week is the entire Miami Dolphins organization. After winning their last seven games last season and picking up Dante Culpepper in the offseason, there was the slight hope of rebuilding in Miami, but they have went in the total opposite direction. They only have one win on the season and it doesn't look to be getting any better. How do we know this? They activated Marcus Vick. That's all I really need to say. You know you're a desperate team when you activate someone like Vick. The thing that really shocked me was they activated him as a receiver and also as a potential quarterback. If there's one person in the NFL I can't stand its Michael Vick, however, now it's going to be his little brother. I thought it was bad when fans would scream for Joey Harrington to come out and take over the quarterback job. However, if they start screaming for Marcus to come out to take snaps, then they might as well scream for Earl Morall to come out and throw a few.
