For the 14th straight season the Huskies defeated the Kutztown University Golden Bears. The streak is the third longest winning streak over any opponent in school history. Bloomsburg had two running backs rush for over 180 yards in the 41-14 victory. Dan Latorre, who threw for 143 yards and one touchdown, led the Huskies to six out of ten successful scoring drives. The defense forced a Kutztown turnover on nine of their 11 offensive drives - forcing five punts, three turnover on downs, and one fumble.

Christian Allen and Josh Heck led the Huskies on the ground as they rushed for a combined 365 (of the total 373) offensive yards. Allen's longest rush was for 60 yards, he averaged 9.7 yards a carry and scored four touchdowns. Heck took the ball into the end-zone only once and averaged nine yards a carry - his longest was a 53 yard gain. Heck's performance on Saturday moved him into ninth place on Bloomsburg's all-time career rushing list. Latorre, who connected on 10 of 20 attempts, hit Brahin Bilal for his only touchdown pass of the game. Bilal led the receivers with six catches for 92 yards.

The Huskies were forced to punt on their first drive of the game, turning the ball over to KU on their own 43-yard line. The defense took the field and held the Golden Bears to a gain of two yards on four straight downs, giving the offense possession on the KU 45. Six plays later Christian Allen punched into the end-zone from one yard out for his first touchdown of the game and a 7-0 lead. The Huskies gained the lead roughly six minutes into the game and held on to it for the remainder.

Allen scored two more times before Kutztown could get on the board. He capped off a 68-yard drive to end the first quarter with a 13-0 lead (after a missed extra point). The defensive forced a KU punt on their first drive of the second quarter, which gave the offense possession on their own four yard line. On the seventh play of the drive, at the BU 40 yard line on third and seven, Allen carried the ball for a sixty-yard touchdown and a 20-0 lead.
