Liberals being hypocritical

Politicians aren't who they say they are

It's a proven fact that if George W. Bush could crap out 24 karat gold bricks that some liberal would say that they were the wrong shape and size. Liberals have been screaming for six years about every movement that President Bush makes. But once we are able to look more closely at these liberal rebel-rousers we are able to see a different picture then the one my favorite person ever, John Stewart, portrays. My favorite example is Ted Kennedy. How many readers honestly know how much good-old Ted and his family are worth? Well if you guessed 500 million dollars then you'd be correct. And in addition to this how many can guess how his fortune came to be.

I'll give all you liberals a hint. It's a three letter word that starts with an O. Wow that's right liberals: Oil. So why in 2002, 2003, 2004, 2005, and 2006 did Ted Kennedy attack President Bush on the very thing that made him a multimillionaire? But Mr. Kennedy wasn't done as he also in late 2001 slammed President Bush for his admitted experimentation with illegal drugs. So it would be fine then to assume that Mr. Kennedy, the true voice of the left, would have not a stain to his name.

Wrong again my friends. Let us examine a specific date. Let's randomly select July 18, 1969. (You see the problem is our college generation is way too young to remember such dates so we simply ignore them.) This so called hero of civil and women's rights found himself smack dab in the middle of a murder investigation. That's right, murder. Back in the day, Teddy was involved with a girl named Mary Jo Kopechne, who happened to be his brother's secretary. So near midnight, on his way back from his date, Ted's car flew off of a low lying bridge. He managed to escape. However his date was unable to free herself from the car and died shortly after.

Now I'm not sitting here blaming him for that part of the accident, although the initial police report did state that the smell of alcohol was present on Mr. Kennedy. The odd part of Mr. Kennedy's night was that he failed to report this incident to the police for a whole 10 hours. So while young Mary Jo Kopechne suffered for 10 hours, Mr. Kennedy had plenty of time to sober up and negotiate a story that would "save" his political career. And as usual in Connecticut, the Kennedy's walked free. Oh no he was punished fairly, he received a years "probation." So for your support of women's rights, and negligence that led to the death of a young woman I salute you as senator. These politicians are not who they say they are. Investigate for yourself. Take from this what you want, however know that the people the left so often supports, all have hidden skeletons in their closets. For those seeking a good read on the topic I recommend, "Do as I Say, Not as I Do," by Peter Schweitzer. So make sure you investigate for yourself and don't just jump on the Stewart ban-wagon.
