On Friday night the players got to interact with Jennie Finch in a private dinner, while Saturday they also took part in a banquet along with the other coaches. This was a great opportunity for the Bloomsburg softball team as they got to watch some of the best players in the nation demonstrate technique and interact with them as well as see Jennie Finch pitch.
"We are thrilled and honored to have been selected to work as counselors at this very prestigious clinic," said Huskies assistant coach Susan Kocher. "There will be some great talent there and I am sure our players will also benefit from being around such great talents. It is not often a player gets to work with Olympic and NCAA champions." Jennie Finch also donated a finch windmill to the team as well, and talked to them about what it takes to become a dominant player. This experience and talk should only help the Huskies more as they get ready for their season which starts in January.
