For one BU couple, this Valentine's Day will be their first engaged to one another. And even though they're excited about the holiday and an upcoming wedding, each one admits that balancing school and planning the big shindig can be a struggle. "It's hard to go out with friends to the bar or to eat and not feel little nagging guilt in the back of your mind for not saving the money instead.
Sleet and freezing rain blanketed the already snow-covered ground Wednesday morning, requiring the skills of an Olympic ice skater just to make it to early classes. Despite the compressed schedule and the grounds crew working round the clock, pathways on upper campus were completely ice covered for the majority of the day yesterday.
"90 percent of what you've read or seen on TV about hypnotism has been embellished for entertainment" is what hypnotist/comedian Dale K revealed to 207 students in the Kehr Union Ballroom this past Friday, February 8th. Sponsored by Bloomsburg University's Program Board, the once named Campus Performer of the Year by "Campus Activities Magazine" brought his original brand of hypnotism to BU along with plenty of laughs.
