Huskies pioneer win over Post

Team earns sixth shutout of the season, advances to PSAC Championships

  Last Saturday the 18th-ranked Huskies took the field for the final game of the regular season, facing off with the C.W. Post Pioneers.  Bloom entered the match-up with a 16-2, 7-1 PSAC East record, with the Pioneers coming in at 9-10 overall and 1-7 in the PSAC East.

Fourth-ranked Huskies score four versus Marauders

  The BU field hockey team (11-2, 4-1) topped the Millersville Marauders (7-9, 1-5) Tuesday night, 4-1, with no problem.  The Huskies and Marauders both entered the game nationally ranked, with Bloom in the fourth spot and Millersville at tenth.

Huskies prevail in matchup of canines and felines

BU remains ranked first in the nation following defeat of Adelphi

The Huskies conquered yet another team last Saturday, as they won the game, 3-1, against the Panthers of Adelphi University.  Amanda Riley scored her third goal of the season as she injected the ball into the left corner of the net during the first half.

Bloomsburg once again left searching for a head field hockey coach after former BU assistant who was

            Bloomsburg field hockey has been consistent over the past more than a decade, but with that success came a share of disappointment. However, their most significant losses didn't show on the scoreboard; rather they hit closer to home and may be more gut wrenching than any game lost.
