The Tuesday night matchup between Tiggle Biddies and Get Money was set to be played at 8:00 p.m. on court two in the Student Rec Center. Both teams warmed up with aspirations of becoming this season's new intramural champions. It seemed like teams in the second semester the teams are more into it and want it more then the first. Maybe they realize things they could do differently, picking up new players or simply having new strategies. Either way it looked to be an exciting season heading our way.

Get Money won the tip. They charged down the court passing the ball to their big man down low. What seemed to be an easy lay up was missed. Get Money was relentless coming up with three offensive rebounds and the put back to set the tone within the first few seconds of the game. Tiggle Biddies wasn't going to be dominated like that for the whole game. They came down the court and hit a three from the corner.

The game went back and forth for much of the first half with Tiggle Biddies hitting three pointer after three pointer and Get Money getting easy layups in the paint.

Get Money started to get crafty. On an inbound pass, Get Money threw the ball off the back of an opposing player and took the easy layup for himself. There was nothing to do from both teams but to laugh.

Get Money started to dominate the game late in the first half with their size and presence in the paint. Tiggle Biddies only hope was to come back down the court and hit a three to stay one step ahead. Statistics show that plan does not work out too well. Tiggle Biddies had an injury to a player who was severely cut above the eye and proceded to bleed. He would return later in the game but it was no hope.

Get Money built a lead of more than 15 points and started to play keep away from the opposing team. They would sometimes make five or six passes before taking a shot or driving in for a layup. They continued to run time off the clock, which left Tiggle Biddies in desperation. There were six minutes left in the game and Tiggle Biddies was down by 17 points. Shots were thrown up in desperation.

With each possession, Get Money ran at least a minute off of the clock until the referee called the game with one minute left to play. Get Money looked like a team that could make some noise this season with much of the second half played lethargically with almost half of their starters not playing. Look out for Get Money to do big things while Tiggle Biddies looks to rebound from this loss.
