Bloomsburg freshman competes at NCAA Championships
Madeline Barlow, a freshman on the Bloomsburg University women’s swimming team, was the only swimmer out of both the men’s and women’s teams to compete in the NCAA Division II Championships for the “A” time cuts.

The Bloomsburg University men’s and women swim teams participated in the 2010 Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) championships beginning on Thursday and ending on Sunday in Cumberland Valley High School in Mechanicsburg, this past weekend.
Bloomsburg University’s men’s and women’s swim teams hosted their last home meet of the regular season at the Nelson Fieldhouse pool on Sunday. The women’s team competed against East Stroudsburg University, while the men’s team competed against Drexel University.
While most students spent the long winter break relaxing, the Bloomsburg University men’s and women’s swim teams spent their time much differently. The teams spent five days in Bloomsburg where that had practice three times a day. They even traveled to Florida for a ten-day training camp.
