For those who may transfer to another college. Do not EVER transfer to Argosy University. I have been there for 4 semesters and have had one bad teacher who would not help me with my work, the tutors did so bad that I failed my homework and they claimed they did not understand what the teacher was doing. So I ended up getting help from my 12 year old son and passed with a 72 and I thought that was bad, though I passed. I am now being harrassed by a teacher and I have left 2 messages to the dean and two messages through his email and he will not respond back. My advisor will not take care of this matter, she says she has but the teacher is still harrassing me and i can not drop out without paying for the class, since I am on a finiacial aid grant. Harrassment is against the law but they are ignoring the students comments, they care more about the money it seems to me.
Great article. I didn't know Mr. Keller was a teacher. I read his story in Readers Digest when I was in the 4th grade. (1960-1961) The article finished with a note that he had suffered a heart attack in the ring and passed away. I gave a book report on the story. For many years after that, I wanted to be a lion trainer like him. (Instead I took up boring accounting) It's good to know a little more of his story.
